On the 5th April 2014, the Zambia Draughts Federation (ZDF) had a successful elective AGM at NASDEC  graced by the National Sports Council General
Secretary Lt. Col  Man Muchimba.  The media houses were also present to
follow the ZDF proceedings. Many ZDF Executive Members retained their
positions after the elections.

President Tentani Mwanzah, Godrey Kawanda and Inambao Inambao retained
their old positions. Bornwell Mweemba who was ZDF Tournament Director
contested for the ZDF Vice Presidency and won after beating his
challenger  Raphael Lesa of Kaunda Square by more than 60% of the
votes. A new member from Chilenje Draughts Club, an Accountant by
profession won the position of Treasurer. Mwaaza Sakala contested for the position of Tournament Director and walked away unopposed. Four
gentlemen from different clubs were nominated to contest for the ZDF
